I’m not rich enough to be accused of money laundering – VDM breaks silence after EFCC release

Martins Otse, known widely as Verydarkman, has come forward to address the accusations of money laundering following his release from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a video that has gained significant traction on social media, Verydarkman was seen alongside his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, as he expressed his disbelief over the charges.

In the video, Verydarkman passionately questioned the motives behind the allegations, stating, “How would they level allegations of money laundering on someone who doesn’t have money? I have done so many charity, they wonder how, they don’t know I use debt for charity.” His remarks reflect his frustration and confusion regarding the accusations brought against him.

Concluding his statement, he remarked, “Anyway, we are outside, with my lawyer of course,” signaling his relief after being released. His comments have sparked discussions about the intersection of activism and financial scrutiny in the current climate.
