Give attention to security of lives and property, Adamawa gov tells council bosses The Informant247

I’m confident I’ll win – Adamawa Gov Fintiri reacts to inconclusive election

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri has said he would emerge the winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state.

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said he is not worried about the suspension of the collation of results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Informant247 recalls that the electoral commission on Monday March 20 declared the governorship election in the state inconclusive.

This came following the consideration of the margin of the votes between the 2 leading candidates after the collation of results.

While reacting to the development, the Governor said he would win the guber election as the people of the state would cast their votes for him and he would emerge by God’s will.

He made this revelation while granting a television interview on Wednesday March 22.

“We are waiting for when the election would be concluded and a winner declared.“

History will repeat itself in my favour

The Governor said this would not be the first time collation of election results would be suspended, as he would later be declared winner of the election.

” This time around Allah will repeat the history in my favour. The Adamawa people will decide and vote for me massively. I’m certain I will have majority votes by the grace of Allah. I’m not perturbed, I believe in Almighty Allah who will ensure the right time that I will be declared winner,” he prayed.
