How FTVF celebrated 10th anniversary in grand style in Ilorin
The Feed The Vulnerable Foundation (FTVF), a non-governmental organization, celebrated its 10th anniversary of service to humanity in grand style on Saturday.
The anniversary, held in Ilorin, featured the presentation of awards to outstanding volunteers and invited speakers for their consistent and inclusive performance in advancing the foundation’s mission.
The event drew volunteers from all 36 states, including Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Lagos, and many others.
Hon. Animasahun Quadri Oluwaseyi, one of the co-organizers of the anniversary, explained that the purpose of the gathering was to honour the volunteers who have supported the foundation for the past decade.
“We couldn’t have achieved this without them. It is time for us to come together and celebrate their positive impact on their communities,” said Hon. Animasahun.
He encouraged the volunteers and their families to maintain their enthusiasm, praying that God rewards their service in this life and the hereafter.

FTVF Lagos Team Lead, Muhammed Ayobami, expressed his excitement about the event, noting that it provided an opportunity for volunteers from diverse backgrounds to connect.
“This program allows us to celebrate our achievements and successes, reflect on our journey, and consider how we can improve in the future,” he said.
Ayobami praised the volunteers’ resilience and urged them to intensify their efforts to help the foundation achieve its goal of feeding vulnerable families in Nigeria.
“We are doing this for God, and only He can reward us. If we prioritize God and do not expect returns from anyone, we will remain active and dedicated. As volunteers, we seek no rewards from anyone, not even the Founder, but God’s infinite blessings,” he added.
Volunteers share their joy
Ola Lawal Mustapha, an Oyo-based FTVF volunteer, expressed his happiness at being present for the foundation’s 10th anniversary and looked forward to future celebrations.
Lagos State volunteer Olayiwola Sulaiman shared his joy, extending his heartfelt appreciation to the anniversary organizers.
“I am elated,” he said with a warm smile. “Meeting people from across the country and reconnecting with those I met at last year’s anniversary is wonderful. While I wish these events could be held more frequently, I am very happy to see so many people, young and old, working together to make a difference.”
Sulaiman emphasized that the foundation is dedicated to the people, not just the volunteers, and that the gathering was a celebration of their goals and a chance to raise awareness about their work.
Foundation’s Walk for Hope Initiative
Earlier on Friday, the Feed The Vulnerable Foundation held a “Walk for Hope” initiative to raise awareness about chronic health issues and promote health maintenance.
The walk, that kicked off at GSS Ilorin was attended by prominent members, including Honourable Seyi Animashaun, Mr. Articulate Ayobami, and Mr. Ibrahim Fotonugget, among others.

The initiative aimed to educate the public about severe health problems such as chronic kidney diseases, lower respiratory tract infections, neonatal disorders, stroke, diabetes, and oral and cervical cancers.
It also sought to promote early detection and prevention, as well as raise funds for affected individuals and research initiatives.

The event included health screenings, information sessions, awareness campaigns, fundraising activities, and speeches from healthcare professionals.
“We encourage people to stay hopeful and alive, knowing that where there is life, there is hope. They are not alone, and we are always with them,” the foundation said.
