Hours after release, Aminu Mohammed apologises to Aisha Buhari

Aminu Mohammed, a university student who was arrested over comment on the first lady, has apologized to the First Lady, Aisha Buhari for calling her out on social media.

The Informant247 recalls that Mohammed had criticised the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Twitter, saying the first lady was feeding herself and adding on poor people’s money.

The security officers arrested the student and dragged him before the FCT High Court No. 14.

However, the president’s wife on Friday discontinued the case following the intervention of well meaning Nigerians.

Reacting via his Twitter handle on Sunday, the student who regained his freedom said he did not intend to cause any harm to the’ feelings of the first lady.

”I would also like to use this medium to express my heartfelt gratitude toward those that helped me go through the darkest hours of my life, man cannot escape his destiny but my incidence should serve as a lesson to all of us. Thank you all and one love.

”I would like to use this medium to express my sincere apologies to those I’ve hurt especially our mother, Aisha Buhari. It was never my intention to hurt your feelings and insha Allah I will change for the better. However, I’m also grateful for your forgiveness, thank you mama.”
