Hours after Atiku’s visit, Ganduje leads APC NWC to Buhari

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Ganduje has led members of the party’s National Working Committee(NWC) to pay a visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his Kaduna residence.

The visit came just hours after Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), accompanied by former Kaduna Governor Nasir el-Rufai, ex-Sokoto Governor Aminu Tambuwal, former Imo Governor Achike Udenwa, Benue’s Gabriel Suswam, Adamawa’s Jibrilla Bindow, former Attorney General Abubakar Malami, and ex-Communications Minister Isa Pantami, made a surprise Sallah homage to Buhari at his Kaduna residence.

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has not disclosed the reasons for the visit yet.

However, days earlier, a delegation of APC governors, led by Imo Governor Hope Uzodimma had also visited Buhari in Kaduna. That team offered Sallah greetings and congratulated the former president on the peaceful completion of Ramadan.
