Today, Nigeria lost one of the luminary Judge of all time to the cold hand of death. A man of justice, liberty and equity. One of the few honorable men that have helped to modify the legal system in Nigeria.
In this time of grief, my heartfelt condolence goes to the family of Justice Mustapha Adebayo Akanbi, a man that was described as “a bright, forthright and incorruptible Judge”.
His journey on earth is a lesson for this generation, he left some marks on the sound of time that the tempest will never have the capacity to wipe away. In fact, Justice Mustapha Akanbi lived a life worthy of emulation and celebration.
His life and time remind me that death can never take a good man away, for, in the hearts of the people he inspired, the legacy remains and continuous throughout generations. He was a great teacher, mentor and father to many.
I am honored and blessed to have known your father. He was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss him. My condolences.
