Group congratulates new KWASU VC, Akanbi
The Ilorin Emirate For Unity And Development Initiative (IEUDI), has congratulated Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN on his emergence as the Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU).
In a statement signed by the secretary of the group, AbdulRauph AbdulSalam in Ilorin, the group said they are confident that Prof. Akanbi would deploy his wealth of experience in lifting the fortunes of the citadel of learning, describing his emergence as another great milestone in the history of the University.
The statement reads in part, “We join other stakeholders, Ilorites and the academia to congratulate you on your assumption of office as the vice chancellor of one of the most sought after universities in Nigeria and the state’s pride.
“It is our hope and expectation that you will put your skills to continue to make the university a pace setter in the nation’s educational sector. We are confident that with your leadership, the university will produce great men and women that will put Kwara and indeed Nigeria in the world map.”
The Kwara State Governor, Mall AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq had announced Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN, as the new Vice- Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete earlier on Wednesday.
