Gov Adeleke suspends new school fees of Osun Poly, Iree

The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke has suspended the new school fees of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.

The Informant247 gathered that the new school fees were before now approved by the Governing Council of the Osun State owned tertiary institution.

The management of the polytechnic has revealed that it is ready to obey the directive of the state government.

The new students who just got admission into the school were meant to be affected by the new school fees regime.

While announcing its compliance with the directive of the state government, in a statement, the Bursar of the polytechnic, A.O. Okediya, revealed that the directive of the state government affected only the ND I and HND I students.

The Bursar stated: “Following the directive of the State Government, the new fee regime approved by the eighth Governing Council of the institution for the newly admitted students for the 2022/2023 Academic Session, has been suspended pending further directive from the State Government.

“Please note that this directive affects only the ND I and HND I students, other categories of students are expected to continue with their payments and registration as expected.”
