Gov AbdulRazaq mourns Mubarak, orders for probe into his death
AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Governor, on Saturday, described as shocking and saddening the death of 27-year-old Yusuf Mubaarak under hazy circumstances that he said must be investigated by security agencies.
The Informant247 recalls that Mubaarak, a new media personality from Ilorin, went missing, raising concerns amongst his family and friends.
However, his lifeless body was eventually found around the Unity area of the state capital and was taken to Ilorin cemetery for burial amid tears by friends, associates and acquaintances.
Meanwhile, the Governor, through his spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye, strongly condemns the cowardly violence meted out to the lad while demanding an immediate and thorough investigation into the death of the promising chap to arrest and bring his assailants to justices
The statement reads, “No resources should be spared to get justice for Mubaarak and his family. We charge the security agencies to cast their nets as widely as possible to answer all pending questions around his painful death.”
The governor also sends his heartfelt condolences to the family of Mubaarak, his friends, and all the youth constituencies in the state while praying to Allah to grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and comfort his family and everyone who mourns the promising lad.
