Global Citizens24 partners Informant247 to produce geopolitical analysis
Global Citizens24, a platform focused on geopolitics and contemporary issues, has partnered with The Informant247, an online newspaper, to produce and distribute studio-based video analyses on critical geopolitical topics. The partnership was announced on 16 January 2025.
The collaboration will allow Global Citizens24 to leverage its expertise in international affairs to create compelling, insightful content aimed at educating and inspiring a global audience.
Established in November 2024 at the University of Ilorin, Global Citizens24 aims to foster a more informed and globally conscious society through a balanced and precise analysis of geopolitical issues. The partnership is seen as a significant step toward achieving these goals.
Speaking at the event, the head of audio-visuals at Informant247, Mr. Ismaila Kiyesola praised the initiative, describing it as a well-conceived endeavour aimed at addressing the significant gaps in international news reportage within Nigeria.

He expressed optimism that the partnership would enhance the quality and accessibility of global news analysis in the country.
Similarly, the publisher of the medium, Salihu Shola Taofeek reaffirmed his commitment to the initiative, pledging to provide the necessary resources to ensure its success and longevity.
He also emphasised the project’s potential to cultivate the next generation of top-tier broadcast journalists and analysts.
