Fuel subsidy removal: Barrister Kunle calls for cooperation, lauds Gov AbdulRazaq’s developmental strides

An All Progressive Congress Chieftain in Kwara State, Barrister Kunle Suleiman has highlighted the importance of subsidy removal, stressing that it is essential for Nigeria’s progress.

During a special interview at Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahya Seriki’s birthday celebration, he commended the transformation of Kwara State under Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq’s leadership.

Barrister Suleiman stressed that while the initial phase of subsidy removal might bring hardship, it was a necessary step in the right direction. He pointed out that fuel prices in Nigeria remained competitive when compared to other countries.

He called for calm and cooperation from labour unions, urging them to support the government’s implemented policies aimed at benefiting all citizens.

Reflecting on Kwara’s transformation, Barrister Suleiman noted a significant shift from an era where the government appeared disinterested in the welfare and development of Kwarans to the present, where the administration actively pursues progress and upliftment.

He commended the developmental strides witnessed across the state, highlighting Governor Abdulrazaq’s commitment to improving all sectors of Kwara, from Kwara North to Kwara South and Kwara Central.

In addition to advocating for subsidy removal, Barrister Suleiman extended heartfelt greetings to Ambassador Yahaya Seriki on his birthday, wishing him wealth and boundless capacity.
