Former Osun commissioner, Korede dies at 61
A former Osun Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Honourable Idowu Korede, has been reported dead.
The former Commissioner gave up the ghost yesterday, December 31, 2022, at the age of 61.
The death of the Ijesa born politician has saddened his followers, and stakeholders of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) who have expressed sadness over his passing.
The Informant247 gathered that the environmental sanitation expert has been ill for a while before he died yesterday, the eve of the new year.
He was the Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation during the second term administration of the former Governor of Osun who’s now the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
The Speaker of the House of Assembly, who’s also a member of the APC, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, has reacted to the passing of the party chieftain describing it as a personal loss that he is yet to come to terms with.
