Forest dents City title bid as Wood strikes late equalizer
Manchester City conceded a late equalizer against Nottingham Forest in their premier league match week 23 on Saturday.
City went into the game as the league leaders having secured a 3-1 win over Arsenal on Wednesday.
While a win for them would have seen them maintain the position which they literally kept via goal difference, Arsenal have now taken over the top spot with a two points difference after edging Aston Villa in another contest earlier on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Arsenal still hopes for a more clear out on the table when they eventually play their outstanding against Everton.
The home side would have to thank Chris Wood’s late equaliser for cancelling out Bernardo Silva’s first-half opener.
Although Pep Guardiola’s side dominated the whole proceedings at the City Ground, the home side kept their head up and just as they wished- they were rewarded with a draw.
Manchester City will face relegation battling AFC Bournemouth in their next game.
