Explosion injures 3 persons at Port Harcourt’s APC rally

Three persons have sustained various degrees of injuries, as explosion rocked a campaign rally of the All Progressive Congress, APC, at the Rumuwoji Playground in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

The incident was confirmed by the spokesperson of the party, Darlington Nwauju.

The spokesperson described the scenario as ‘unfortunate’.

The state’s police Command has not reacted to the explosion that occurred at the campaign rally.

It was gathered that 2 of the victims were women, all of whom were hospitalized for medical treatment.
