EXCLUSIVE:Kwara govt takes over pavilion project initiated by Sen. Saliu Mustapha
The Kwara State Government has taken over the construction of a pavilion project earlier initiated by the Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Saliu Mustapha, at the palace of the Emir of Ilorin.
Named Sulu Gambari Pavilion, the project was originally initiated and commenced by the senator to serve as a critical shelter and support facility within the Emir’s palace.

However, shortly after construction began, officials of the Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KWAGIS) stopped work at the site, citing non-compliance with planning and construction regulations.
After months of delay, The Informant247 can now exclusively confirmed that work has resumed at the site.

When our correspondent visited on Friday, heavy construction equipment, including an excavator and a loader, were observed on ground, indicating preparations for renewed work.
Multiple palace sources confirmed to this medium that full construction is expected to commence within the next week under the supervision of the state government.
Both government officials and officials at the office of the lawmaker didn’t react to the report when contacted.
