Ex-Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari laid to rest as Tinubu paid last respect

The remains of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari has finally been laid to rest in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State in accordance with Islamic rites.

The Nigerian President, who is also his successor Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid his last respect to the former military leader.

Families and friends were present at his funeral after his ramains arrived Katsina, his hometown in company of the Vice President Kashim Shettima and other top officials.

The Informant247 reports that the immediate past Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari died at a London clinic after a brief illness

Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Sheu, announced this on Sunday afternoon.
