Ex-Governor Ladoja crowned 44th Olubadan, receives Staff of office

A former Governor of Oyo State, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has officially been crowned the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland during the coronation ceremony which was held at the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan on Friday.

The hours-long event was climaxed with the presentation of staff and instrument of office to the new Olubadan by the Governor of Oyo State, Engr.Seyi Makinde.

Among the top dignitaries at the colourful event are President Bola Tinubu, former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III, several serving governors, Ademola Adeleke of Osun, Bayo Oyebamiji of Ekiti and Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo.
