England football legend congratulates Harry Kane on new record
England and Premier league legend, Alan Shearer has congratulated Harry Kane for reaching a new milestone in his career.
The 29-year-old striker netted the lone goal that saw off Tottenham past Manchester City in the premier league game on Sunday.
Kane surpassed Greaves’ 266-goal benchmark for Spurs as his 15th-minute strike was all Tottenham needed to make a difference .
He also became the third player to score 200 premier league goals behind Wayne Rooney who had 208.
Kane described the moment as magical as he also added the fact that he was really hoping for the day to come.
In his reactions, both football legends relished Kane’s new mark.

Alan Shearer scored a total number of 206 premier league goals.
Kane who also hopes to break records remains on the radar of Manchester United as the red devils hope to sign the Three Lions captain at the end of the season
