Eid: Obey coronavirus safety protocols, CP Egbetokun urges muslims

The Kwara State Commissioner for Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has urged Muslims in the state to adhere strictly to protective measures put in place by the authorities to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus.

He congratulated Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The state Police PRO, Ajayi Okasanmi, in a tweet on his official handle, quoted the police boss to have urged muslims “not to lose sight of danger posed by the pnademic”.

Okasanmi tweeted, “As we celebrate the end of Ramadan, we pray that the Almighty Allah accept all of the prayers, fasting, and remembrance of him by all muslim faithful during this blessed month.”
