Digprom opens new office in Ilorin, charges youth on creativity, innovation

A frontline digital and ICT outfit, Digprom on Saturday, 25th January inaugurated its new office called digital and creative hub in Taiwo, Ilorin, kwara state centre of commerce.

The programme also included a seminar titled “Digital Opportunities of 2020” with seasoned speakers from within and outside Kwara State.

More than 73 participants graced the events which had 4 sessions; The future of work anchored by Jide Ayeni (CBD, Digprom), Going Corporate; Securing big clients anchored by Timmy Brain (FutureX Digital), Digital Opportunities for Startups anchored by Okeowo Segun (Marquehub CEO), Digital in the next decade anchored by Ishola Kayode (Digprom).

In his remark, the CEO, Mr. Ishola Kayode appreciated the team, participants, clients and other persons that have immensely contributed to the evolution and development of the outfit over the years.

Mr. Kayode charged youth to harness the digital opportunities available, and not to only consume but also create technologies.

The Honorable Commissioner for Tertiary Education in Kwara State Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu represented by Abdulazeez Abdulrazaq also admonished participants to always immerse themselves in the attempt of deepening their knowledge of ICT.

Digprom is the pioneer of the Learn Digital In Kwara Program; a digital learning training program where more than 70 persons had been trained in 4 cohorts as this year’s training is slated for February 10th, 2020. A new coding program for Kids have been launched by the brand with 4 schools in Kwara captured in the pilot phase.
