Dele Shittu Foundation launches ‘Back to School’ program for 1,400 Kwara students

The Dele Shittu Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to improving the lives of women and young people, is preparing to launch its “Back to School Outreach” program.

This initiative aims to provide essential school materials to approximately 1,400 students across Kwara State.

The project, led by the foundation’s General Manager, Toyeeb Ibrahim, is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20.

During this period, the foundation will visit schools in each of the state’s three senatorial districts.

Toyeeb explained that the outreach will cover a range of support, including the payment of school fees for children a full academic session and the donation of various school items such as bags, water bottles, books, sandals, socks, and writing materials.

Earlier this year, the Dele Shittu Foundation made significant strides in promoting education. In collaboration with the Kwara State Ministry of Education, the foundation organized a statewide oratory contest to celebrate Children’s Day.

The event saw active participation from 60 schools, demonstrating the foundation’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence.
