Crisis: Govt evacuates stranded Kwara students from Jos
Stranded Kwara State students studying in Plateau State are being evacuated back home by the state government in the face of the renewed crisis in the state.
According to sources who declined to be identified, fifty-eight (58) students are being returned back to Kwara in four buses with security escorts provided by the government as at the time of filing this report.

Muftau said, “As at the time this statement is issued, the students are on their way back to Kwara state. The leadership of NAKSS National Headquarters however implore Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong and relevant security agencies in Nigeria to help in restoring peace and unity in the state to further assist students and other residents of the city to continue with their normal businesses.”
Meanwhile, states like Kogi, Niger and Gombe have already moved their students out of the city.
