COVID-19: Saraki commends Kwara health workers
A former President of the Nigerian Senate, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Wednesday, commended health workers in Kwara as the state record her first two cases of the novel coronavirus.
Saraki, in a statement on his verified Facebook page, also condoled with the family of the deceased UITH coronavirus suspect, Muideen Obanimomo.
He said, “My heartfelt condolences goes out to the Obanimomo Family and the entire Kwara state on the passing of Alhaji Muideen Obanimomo, while also wishing his wife and others who were exposed to the Covid19 virus quick recovery.
“I commend the service of our front line health workers in Kwara who are giving their best to provide the healthcare we need to overcome this pandemic.
“I urge everyone to please comply with all the safety protocols announced by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which include frequently washing hands, social distancing and reporting immediately once any symptoms of the virus are noticed.”
