Covid-19: international flights to commence operation August 29

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the much anticipated resumption date for international flights to commence in the country

The Honourable Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, made this disclosure on Monday, August 17, 2020 through his official twitter handle. He added that the reopening procedure will mirror that of domestic flights where operations began with the Lagos and Abuja airports.

He said, “Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the 29th of August, 2020. Beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption.”

The minister further revealed that all protocols and procedures will be communicated in due time.

“We thank you for your patience,” he added.
