Breaking: Kwara State Sports Commission Board tenure ends today

The four year tenure of Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji led Kwara State Sports Commission board has come to an end today, Sunday, August 3, 2025.

This was confirmed by Coach Mogaji himself during a phone interview on Sports Number One Radio Show on Gerin 95.5fm anchored by Veteran Sportscaster, Bayour Issah on Sunday morning.

Recall that the Chairman, alongside other members of the Commission, were appointed on August 3rd,2021 to.lead the then newly created Kwara State Sports Commission.

Mogaji said “The tenure of the board of Kwara Sports commission will elapse today. By the grace of God, we have done our best. We have served for four years and we thank His Excellency, the Governor of Kwara State for what he’s done. But as I speak to you we have not received official letter that our tenure has ended.

“May be by Monday we will receive our official letter that we have seized to be Executive Chairman of the commission and other members. He further stated.
