BREAKING: CAC withdraws NYCN registration, de-recognizes leadership

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has withdrawn the registration certificate of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and de-recognised all trusteeship, leadership, and management structures of the organization.

The development was first reported in a scoop shared by the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Youth, Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi, on his Facebook page, and was seen by The Informant247.

The move effectively invalidates the council’s existing leadership and administrative structures, signaling a major shake-up in the country’s apex youth organization.

Details regarding the reasons for the CAC’s action or the next steps for the NYCN were not immediately disclosed.
