Boost for ‘Forest as Taiwo Awoniyi returns from injury
Nigeria International Taiwo Awoniyi has returned to training on Saturday after spending eigth week on the sideline.
Awoniyi was ruled out in January due to what is believed to be a groin injury he sustained in the 1-0 win over Southampton.
The Nigerian forward who scored the winner was forced off with 20 minutes from time.
The injury has kept him out of action for 13 matches and his absence has affected the club massively.
His return is expected to boost the team’s quest to survive dropping to relegation as they currently occupy 16th position with 26 points.
