Basketmouth, wife part ways after 12 years

Ace Nigerian Comedian, Bright Okpocha, known by his stage name, Basketmouth announced he parted way with his wife, Elsie Okpocha after 12 years of being together.

Basketmouth made the disclosure on Thursday in a post on his verified Instagram and Facebook handles.

It was gathered that, Basketmouth who had celebrated his wife’s 44th birthday in October, in the post said the decision was sequel to much deliberations between him and the wife.

He, however, promised that they would both continue to work together to ensure their children have desired parental love and care.

“As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation.

“After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.

“As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.

“We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you,” he said in the social media posts.
