Barr Obayomi congratulates Kwara PDP for emergence of its Chairman, other executives
Barrister Azeez Obayomi of Oro Ago ward, in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, has congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the emergence of the new state Chairman and other executives.
The event which took place at the Atlantic Event Palace, Offa -Ajase Ipo Road Ilorin, on Saturday, had in attendance, the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, former state governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, former minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi, and Abubakar Kanike, former House of Reps member.
Obayomi lauded the Former Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Babatunde Mohammed, who emerged as the PDP chairman for Kwara after a consensus arrangement by its stakeholders at party Congress.
He described the new chairman as a trusted, prepared, and tested leader with solid experience in Kwara politics, adding that Babatunde Mohammed is a long-time political torch for young politicians in the State.
He tasked the newly emerged chairman and his executives not to rest on their oars until they retrieved all lost glory back to the party, stressing that the work ahead is daunting.
Obayomi assured the people in the party that the new Chairman has what it takes to achieve victory at all levels of Government.
Also present at the event were; Nimota Ibrahim, former commissioner, former Senator, Isiaka Sulaiman, and Amb. Prof Gana Issa among others.
