Awoniyi’s family present as he wins man of the match award against Chelsea
Taiwo Awoniyi family were on hand on Sunday to cheer him to him up in the game against Chelsea.
Nottingham forest held Chelsea to a draw in the new year’s day match at the city ground.
It was a befitting day as the Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward was also voted the Man of the match.
Awoniyi joined the former European champions last summer from the German Bundesliga club Union Berlin and has been quite impressive.
Awoniyi has scored vital goals for the newly promoted side this season including their first home win against West Ham United.
The match was also witnessed by Super Eagles Coach Jose Paseiro
He was voted the Club Man of the Match by the club fans on the evening of the match. He has scored three goals for the season so far.
