Awoniyi makes history after scoring brace against Chelsea
Taiwo Awoniyi has become the Nothingham Forest’s first player to score back to back brace in the premier league since Brian Roy 28 years ago.
The in-form Nigeria Super Eagles striker scored twice yesterday as forest played a 2-2 draw with the blues.
Awoniyi who had netted twice in last Monday’s 4-3 win against relegated Southampton has now scored 8 crucial and important goals for his team so far this season.
One more victory, or even two draws, might well be enough to preserve their top-flight status
