As schools resume, MOK Foundation pledges more support for needy students in Kwara

The Executive Director of the MOK Foundation, Mr. Saheed Lawal, has reiterated the organization’s commitment to sustaining its interventions in the education sector, particularly as primary and secondary schools across Kwara State prepare to resume for a new academic session.

Lawal said the Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to support underprivileged students in government schools, stressing that education has been a top priority for the organization over the past two years.

“Our dedication to this cause has been evident in various initiatives, including the payment of school fees, scholarships, and sponsorship of WAEC examinations. As schools resume, we are determined to continue bridging gaps for students who lack access to the resources necessary for academic success,” he stated.

He added that the Foundation’s doors remain open to disadvantaged individuals who genuinely require educational support, while urging school authorities to strengthen collaboration with the organization to promote literacy and combat illiteracy in the state.

Over the years, the MOK Foundation has provided consistent educational assistance, offering a lifeline to many students from low-income backgrounds and reinforcing its vision of building a more inclusive learning environment across Kwara State.
