Arsenal title ambition in the mud after 3-1 loss to Man City

Manchester City have now gone top of the Premier league table after beating Arsenal 3-1 on Wednesday’s night

The much talked about game got underway with both teams having a lot to prove in their quest for the title.

Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoreline for the citizens in the 24th minute and Arsenal would later find the leveler three minutes to the end of the first half when Bukayo Saka slotted home a spot kick.

Both teams returned back to the second half, and while the proceedings continued unabated, Jack Grealish breathed in yet another life in to the game when he struck the second goal in the 72nd minutes.

And again, the reigning champions would seize the moment further when Erling Haaland netted their third goal to send them to the top of the table.

Although with an outstanding game against Everton, Arsenal now have themselves behind Pep Guardiola’s side who are, despite having the same point with them(51) are leading the Gunners on goal difference.

Arsenal will face Aston Villa in their next game as they look to leave the Wednesday’s fiasco behind them.
