Arsenal secure 1-0 victory over Man United
Arsenal, on Sunday defeated Manchester United goal to continue the battle to win the premier league title for the season.
Leonard Trossard’s lone goal in the 22nd minutes was the difference in the momentous game played at the Old Trafford.
Arsenal have won 27 Premier League games this season, their outright most ever in a campaign in the competition, and most in any league season since 1970/71 (29).
The defeat is a club record-equalling ninth home defeat of the season for Manchester United and the first time in 50 years they have lost as many matches at Old Trafford in a single campaign.
With the result, Arsenal go back to the top of the Premier League table and lead Manchester City by a point.
The Gunners have now won five matches in a row and will need a sixth victory to have a chance of claiming the title, should the citizens fail to win the encounters with Tottenham and West Ham.
Arsenal will take on Everton at the Emirates Stadium in their last game of the season.
