APC suspends Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, Ken Nnamani, others

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, former Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani, and others have been suspended by Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC.

The suspension of the stakeholders of the party was announced by the state secretary of the party, Dr. Robert Ngwu.

He announced the recommendation of expulsion of the party stakeholders which was to be ratified by the State Executive Council.

The concerned party members were alleged of anti-party activities.

The party recommended that the former Governor of the state, Sullivan Chime; former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Eugene Odo; Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Osita Okechuukwu; Special Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Flavour Eze; Joe Mammel and Maduka Arum, be expelled from the party.

They were alleged of working against the party, as they supported other political parties during the 2023 general elections.
