APC: Kwara senators move to end state intra-party crisis
Senator representing the three senatorial zones in Kwara State have commenced moves to seek a political solution to the festering crisis in the state chapter of the All Progressive Congress.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and the state Governor have been engrossed in a fight for the control of the soul of the party in the state.
Bolarinwa, who is the state chairman of the party is a staunched loyalist of the Minister.
Other party chieftains, including Iyiola Akogun, Prof Oba Abu among several others have equally pitch tent against the governor.
The Kwara South Senators, Senator Oyelola Ashiru; and his Central and North counterparts, Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe and Senator Umar Sadiq, with Alhaji Lanre Issa-Onilu, have been making contact with chieftains in the state in a bid to revive unity and to bring peace to party.
