ANSARUL ISLAM was established to foster the development of Islam – Secretary-General
The Secretary General of a foremost Islamic organization, Ansarul Islam society of Nigeria, Mr Bayo Alada has said the organization is established to foster the development of Islam among other objectives.
Speaking with our correspondent during an interview session in Ilorin, the Kwara state Capital, Alada made it known that Ansarul Islam, founded by the first Mufti of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammad Kamaldeen Al-Adaby, was established for the progress of Islam and improving Islamic knowledge.
He furthered disclosed that the Islamic scholar, during his lifetime, never affiliated politics with religion and neither did he involved the organization in politics.
Speaking on the coronation of Saraki as the Baba adini of the Organization, Alada said, “Yes, that is a good question. As we all know that before any Association can solidly be at its feet, money must definitely be involved. The late Alhaji Abubakar Olusola Saraki, who is a father to Bukola Saraki, was the first Baba Adini of Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria. And he was bequeathed with this humble position on the account of his contributions towards the progress of the society and Islam. Apart from he being a faithful Muslim He is a good lover of Islam, Ansarul Islam society and the founder, Sheikh kamalud-deen Al- Adabiyy.
“We must definitely know that Islamic titles are not awarded on how much religious you’re alone but how much you can spend in the course of Allah. Your money, energy and religion will all count before you can be a religious title holder. These are the things, Saraki was known for and fortunately enough, his son, Bukola Saraki, has been trailing his father’s footsteps and always ready to do anything in his capacity to elevate Islamic associations not Ansarul Islam alone. He has been extending the gesture to other Islamic Associations as well.
“People creating scenes over the Social Media should be ashamed of themselves. Ansarul Islam Society is not a political association rather it’s an Islamic organization established to foster on the development of Al- Islam. Individuals hauling this kind of lies and propagandas are mere idlers that are looking forward to bringing down the image of the society. Moreover, the same way Saraki was humbled with his father’s former title so was a daughter to the former Iya Addini.
“As good Muslim you’re not suppose to believe everything you see at the first sight. To us in Ansarul Islam society, Saraki is a Muslim. If he hadn’t got the love of Islam in his mind he wouldn’t have been keen towards the progress of Islam. Till this time, we have not seen any official statement regarding him as a Christian.
