Amid crisis, Atiku greets, prays for Gov Wike on birthday

The presidential flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has extended greetings to the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on birth anniversary.

The presidential candidate, while sharing the picture of the governor on Twitter, wrote: “As you turn 55 today, I pray that all lines fall in pleasant places for you. Enjoy your special day.”

Wike and Atiku have not come to terms ever since the conclusion of the PDP presidential primary in May.

The Informant247 recalls that the Governor of Rivers State lost the political battle to Atiku.

The Governor has maintained that the national chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu needs step down as they can not have northerner as presidential candidate and at the same time chairman of the party.

With Governor Wike are 4 other governors of the party known as the G5 or the Integrity Group.
