All of us Cannot Serve at the Same Time – Eshinrogunjo

A former Ilorin West Chairmanship and Kwara Central Senatorial Aspirant, Comrade Musbahu Eshinrogunjo in an exclusive interview with The informant247 at his Liberation House dissected some knotty issues as affecting kwara State.

The eloquent APC stalwart beamed some light on the purported grievances within the APC ranks over allegation that governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq sidelined some party loyalists who laboured tirelessly for the party during the 2019 electioneering campaigns in matter of appointments.

“I know where you are going particularly about people complaining that they have not been appointed, I am part of them because one thing about me is that I have always been straight. Everybody want to serve on the basis that I worked for this government. I have worked for this party tirelessly. And I think that I want to be one of those people that will serve.

You know, I said there is a difference between when you work for a party and when the governor believe in you to serve him they are two different things. But what matters to us is good governance to our people, the moment our people are smiling, that is the kind of government we want.

All of us cannot serve at the same time. We are many, if the governor wants to give all of us round, it will not reach everybody. But we have appealed to the governor that all the people that struggled and laid their lives down for the liberation of the state should be appreciated. He is a listening governor, but I believe we are growing and now I keep on telling people that all the youth should rise up we must take what belongs to us – leadership, because our fathers, leaders, and elders always believe that youth are not ready to lead. But, what we have demonstrated in 2019 elections, we demonstrated that we are ready to take what belongs to us.

When we went into that battle, to God be the glory, it was a real and successful battle coupled with the fact that we don’t have money but we introduced what is called “Operation Omi Ati Eje” meaning operation water and blood because we don’t have money but we have water and blood that flow in us and we won the election to the glory of God the powers that be have come back to our party now. Slow and steady our governor won the race.

Even the society is happy with the way our government is running and our governor will look into the 30,000 minimum wages soon.”
