Ahman Pategi Makes Case For Young Female Entrepreneurs

A Commissioner-nominees, Aisha Ahman Pategi in her benevolence made her presence felt at this year’s Young CEOs summit held in Ilorin. Ahman Pategi unavoidably absent, was represented by Mrs. Funmi Osiegbu who conveyed her message of hope and opportunities for female entrepreneurs where young female entrepreneurs were charged to see the enormous opportunities that the 21st century technology has to offer them. She equally spoke through her representative, global and local funding opportunities for female entrepreneurs, and how best to access the grants/ loans, overcome the challenges and thrive in their businesses.

As part of her open door policy, she encouraged young female entrepreneurs who would need mentorship not to hesitate contacting her, revealing that she would be happy to share her wealth of experience with intending and established entrepreneurs, offer the necessary moral support and follow up what will make such individuals succeed in their business ideas.

Hajia Aisha Ahman Patigi emphasised on the need to harness and explore the potential inherent of the womenfolk; noting that such giant stride is critical to nation building. She’s promised to help drive and actualise the ambitions of the young entrepreneurs who have carved a niche for themselves and focused on pursuing a career in the private sector.

The community developer and mobiliser reiterated her commitment to bridging the gap of gender inequality and creating jobs, especially the most vulnerable demography of the female gender in the society. She decried the spate of violence and discrimination against women and urge both major players in public and private sectors to emphatically stand up for women of all ages considering their role in nation building, which she said cannot be overemphasized.

She encourage the organizer of the program Lawal Olohungbebe to not relent in his pursuit to provide fertile platforms for young entrepreneurs.
