Again, power grid collapses
Again, Nigeria has witnessed the collapse of the National Grid, with the country currently generating 0.80 Mega Watt of electricity.
According to Daily Trust, a check on the website of Independent System Operator, an autonomous arm of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), showed that power plants contribution to the grid began to decline around 2 pm to 2,797.16MW from the average 3,417.99MW around 1 pm.
It was further reported that the electricity contribution declined to 1,020.08 around 3 pm before dramatically falling to 0.80 by 4 pm.
The Informant247 learned that the Trans-Amadi Power plant generated the 0.80.
