After presidential election, former Senate President Anyim returns to farm
A former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, has gone back to his farm after the February 25 presidential election.
The Informant247 understands that Anyim was a Senate President from 2000 to 2003.
He aspired for the presidential ticket of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in 2022 and lost.
He took to his social media, Facebook page on Monday March 13, 2023 to announce that he has returned to farm.
The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) wrote: “Today I worked on my farm. It was very refreshing to behold the plants shooting out fresh leaves in response to the early rains.
“I relished pruning the plants at my Bush mango (ogbono) plantation, consistent with my programme to transit from ambition to passion.
