AFCON U17: Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets players pass mandatory MRI test
Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets players have passed the mandatory Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) test.
MRI is a mandatory test normally done to checkmate the age of the players participating in the competition.
The test which was held at the designated CAF hospital in Algiers,Algeria saw all the Coach Nduka Ugbade led 26 players scaled through the test conducted by CAF medical team.
The team has departed Algiers for Constantine, where they will tackle Zambia, Morocco and South Africa in Group B games.
Eaglets will begin their campaign for glory against Zambia U17 team 5pm Nigerian time on Sunday.
The relative young-looking squad has caught the eyes of the public. The team, to many represent a huge shift from the age long stony-faced players that normally dominate the squad.
