Abia Warriors to tackle Elkanemi Warriors in final of President Federation Cup
It’s going to be battle of warriors in the President Federation Cup final when Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri takes on Abia Warriors in the final of the men category of the competition.
The President Federation Cup is originally the Nigerian Federation Cup formerly known as Challenge Cup or Aiteo Cup due to sponsorship.
To set up the final clash, Abia Warriors defeated Kano Pillars 4-3 on penalties after 0-0 in the regulation time.
On the other hand, Elkanemi Warriors defeated Kebbi United 5-4 also on penalties after playing goalless draw in the regulation time.
The final which is expected to be held at the MKO Abiola National Stadium will hold June 29, 2024.
Meanwhile, the finalists from the women category of the President Federation Cup
will emerge on Sunday after the semifinal matches where Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt will face Delta Queens in Awka and Remo Stars Ladies also battle Naija Ratels in Enugu.
