The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has sent greetings to Kwara Speaker, Salihu-Yakubu Danladi on his 35th birthday, according to a statement on Sunday by the Governor’s spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye.
AbdulRazaq described Danladi as “a phenomenon of his time and a pride of his various constituencies”.
The statement added, “Apart from being the youngest Speaker ever in the history of Kwara State and one of the youngest ever in Nigeria, the Rt. Honourable Speaker has carried himself in the manner most befitting of the exalted office. His leadership of the House engenders unity, focus, and determination with which the lawmakers have joined hands with the executive to constantly deliver on our mandate to restore the glory of Kwara State.
“The executive arm is proud to be working with a Speaker and his colleagues who share the same worldview of probity, prudence, accountability, service to humanity, sense of responsibility, and empathy. While urging him to remain focus and people-centric, I join the people of Kwara State, including the state executive council, to congratulate Mr. Speaker, his family, and associates on his birthday. There is no doubt that he has been a worthy representative of his constituencies as a young man and the entire people of Kwara North. I pray Allah (SWT) to grant him more wisdom, good health, and long life.”
An All Progressive Congress (APC) cheiftain and CEO of Kursi Investment, AbdulFatah Yahaya Seriki-Gambari, also felicitated with Danladi.
Seriki-Gambari, according to a statement by his media aide, Ali Fagba, said the Speaker is a true representative of the youths.
He, in his goodwill message said, “No eulogy will be necessary to recommend him to fellow citizens. He’s a young brilliant man who has shown ability on the assignment of the state that was devolved upon him, a fine and true representative of the youth who has, so far, evinced no sign of letting up in his line of duty.
“Let me seize the moment to say thank you for all you do and I pray to Allah to bestow you with the ability to carry on this assignment and make your mark in the governance world as you grow older and bigger.”
