AbdulRazaq mourns as Oludofian of Idofian passes on
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has joined the people of Idofian to mourn the passing of Oludofian of Idofian HRH Oba Muhammed Jamiu Omikunle II
According to a statement by Rafiu Ajakaye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, AbdulRazaq, while commiserating with the people of Idofian in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, said that the transition of the second class monarch, whom he describes as a man of peace, is an incalculable loss to the people of the community.

Governor AbdulRazaq prays to Allaah to admit the late monarch to al-jannah Firdaus and uphold his family and the community upon goodness, urged them to accept this sad development as an act of God and take solace in his legacy of peace and stability within his short reign.
The passing of Oludofian of Idofian, Oba Muhammed Jamiu Omikunle II, was announced in the early hours of Thursday 10th of July, 2025.
The second-class monarch joined his ancestors after a brief illness.
The Chief Imam of Idofian, Alhaji Mohammed Tohir Alao, while confirming the development, said that the Janazah (funeral) prayer will be held at 4 p.m. today in accordance with Islamic rites.
