84-year-old woman to contest for house of assembly seat, picks APC forms
One 84-year-old woman has made a declaration of ambition to contest for House of Assembly seat.
Hajiya Maimuna Goni Hamza has shown interest in contesting for a legislative seat in the Borno State House of Assembly.
The octogenarian has obtained house of Assembly forms of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Hamza’s political ambition was a shock to many.
Recall, that few months ago, one 102-year-old woman, Mrs. Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, made her declaration of intent, to contest for the 2023 presidency.
