250,000 benefited from health insurance scheme in three months – KWHIA
No fewer than 250,000 Kwarans have so far benefited from the health insurance agency, the Kwara State Health Insurance Agency has disclosed.
Dr Olubunmi Jetawo-Winter, the Executive Secretary of the Agency, while disclosing this today at the inter-ministerial press briefing organised by the Kwara State Ministry of Communications, said the mandate of the agency is to provide affordable, accessible, and quality healthcare services to all the residents of Kwara state, irrespective of tribe or religious beliefs.

The Executive Secretary, who was represented by the Controller of Finance and Account of the agency, Mr Atobiloye Mufliu, reiterated the government’s commitment to providing quality and affordable healthcare services to Kwara residents to enhance the healthy living of the people.
Dr Jetawo-Winter furthered that the agency would not relent in its efforts to ensure that the benefits of this scheme get to the entire residents of Kwara State, hence the reason for the commissioning of regional offices across the three geopolitical zones in the state for accessibility.
