100 days: Esinrogunjo applauds Abdulrazaq, describes him as a blessing to Kwarans

A former senatorial aspirant of the All Progressive Congress and convener of Altruism team has applauded the performance of Kwara governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq describing him as a blessing to kwarans.

Esinrogunjo who spoke through the Media Director of Altruism team, Mohammed Omoola Tajudeen said Kwarans are getting the change they voted for, considering the landmark’s achievements of the present administration within a short time in office.

Esinrogunjo said, “Within 100 days, this administration left no stone unturned. He actually touches round all aspect of governance ranging from administrative effectiveness, economic service, social service as well as transfer service and all these formed the component of good governance,”

“The administrative effectiveness of this government has no equal as he has demonstrated in his stalwartness and prudence. He moved the public workers to stand tall to their task and see it as their personal business. He resuscitated all the administrative systems that were moribund. Our colleges of education were brought back into the stream. Media houses were not left out,”

He said, “To boost the economic activities of the state, giant steps have been taken. The state has overwhelmingly relied on allocation from federal and tax generation within the state without any economic development despite the huge deposit of human and material resources available in the state. He had identified various aspects to develop the capacity especially in the area of agriculture. Rehabilitation of Lade Irrigation Dam for all round year farming is a good signal of a focus and goal getter administration,”

“He had equally taken giant steps in rural access road by paying counterpart fund. Having paid the first tranche of N200m counterpart funds, Kwara will now benefit from the $60m Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project III of the World Bank. Gwanara road in Baruten is also not left out as work is going on now just to boost the economic potential of the areas that has comparative advantage in agriculture. His efforts in road rehabilitation across the state command commendation as these roads had become havoc to the motorists before Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq,”

He continued, “As the key function of the government is to protect life and properties of her citizenries, this government didn’t rest provide drinkable water throughout the state and rehabilitation of Kwara State Fire Service which has been abandon for long,”

“The Governor also stepped forward to protect the life healthily by recently paying N232m counterpart funds to address child and maternal health problems, malnutrition, and malaria. This will enable Kwara to access the Basic Healthcare Provisions Fund to provide subsidised healthcare, especially for the poor and the vulnerable,”

Speaking further he said, “On the area of education, the governor had reiterated his administration’s resolution to revamp the education section while commissioning classrooms donated by a group of concerned citizenry in Moro local government. He had walked his talk within this 100days as he paid N450m debt owed by last administration before UBEC in order to access up to N5b to develop our basic education. This is a part of transfer service provided by this administration,”

“Judiciary arm of government is equally not left out as one of the key area for the development. Two different courts, one in Center Igboro and the other in Sango have been rehabilitated. Efforts are ongoing to build more courtrooms and renovate the dilapidated ones,”

“The well articulated and fully prepared governor didn’t rest through dusk till down as he deemed it fit to domesticate social investment program through which poverty will be crushed to at least minimum level. This poverty crash bill had been sent to the house for the legislative actions,”

The steps taken so far is hovering around all sectors that matters for the development and is a signal for the better kwara we are expected.”

He thereafter urged the governor to continue his good work.
